Over a few months I'd noticed the car pitching and diving a bit too much under braking or fast direction changes. I felt that this could be the OE dampers getting a little tired, especially as they've seen 5 years and 65K miles use.
I had considered some coilover variants, but people had reported that it could be too much of a harsh ride and that it could feel bumpy at slow speeds. After all, most kits are designed just for outright performance and probably more at home on a track that our UK roads. Since I didn't want to spend silly money on adjustable coilovers, I decided to look at some P1 suspension after hearing rave reviews of the P1's handling.
Finally, I managed to source some brand new suspension from a P1 owner who had upgraded from new.
